I am having a problem with a program that calls XDrawImageString. The symptoms
are:
- It works fine with a sun3 client talking to sun3 server
- It works fine with a sun386i client talking to sun3 server
- I dies with a sun3 client talking to a 386i server (BadMatch)
- I dies with a 386i client talking to a 386i server (BadMatch)
Does anybody know of problems in these areas, the routines {miImageText,
miImageText8,ProcImageText}, or of fixes?
The sun3 is running X11R3 with no patches applied under SunOS 3.5
The 386i is running X11R3 with patches 1,3,8 applied (the ones that looked
like they might help) under SunOS 4.0. TIA! One final note: The unpatched
386i server croaked in the same manner as the patched one and the 386i
has a color display while the sun3 is mon(It's late sorry!) TIAA!
