uwm and wm are far too limited for the real world, as far as I am concerned.
I have yet to use qwm, but highly recommend twm. It is available through
MIT in the usual source code access manners. We have been using it for
about 9 months, and are quite happy with it. You can easily customize menus
or bind actions to keys, including function keys. Finally, adding little
icon-buttons to the standard ones in the title bar is very easy (I've done
it).

| and fg-22, that I don't seem to have.  Are they available, and are

I don't know about vtsingle, but we got fg-22 on our R2 tape. If you have
another font that size you like, use it, but the fg-nn fonts are nice, too.
