I'm trying to use CLX with AKCL (Version 1.86) in Sun 3/60. CLX came with the X window system Version 11, Release 3. However, I haven't yet succeeded in using the CLX from AKCL. The first errors came when I tried to compile CLX. Files clx.lsp and buffer.lsp couldn't be compiled. The intermediary *.c files were created, but they didn't go through c-compiler (Sun cc). Then I tried to test CLX using *.lsp files. Some demos ( for example .../X11/examples/CLX/hello ) worked well. But .../X11/examples/CLX/menu ( functions just-say-lisp and pop-up ) didn't work. For example pop-up did "Press a button..."-window well. Then it made "Pick one:"-menu, but after that it refused to select any of the items. I'm very interested to hear about experiences of using CLX with AKCL. If you can help me with problems mentioned above, that's even better. Also, if you have used CLUE & PCL with AKCL, I would like to hear about your experiences.
