[comp.windows.x] Slow Arcs, TIFF, stretching regions

	1. does anyone know why drawing full 2*pi ellipses is so slow. I
	   installed the fix for mi arc routines and noticed only
	   minor improvement. My screen still freees while arcs are
	   being drawn.

	2. I got xtiff.tar. from albanycs.albany.edu(or something
	   close to that) and couldnt find a single mention to X. Does
	   anyone have public domain code for mangling tiff images and
	   displaying them under X?

	3. Does anyone have code for stretching/shrinking images(pd)?

	* All questions are relative to sun3/60s and sun386i's running
	  X11R3
