[net.news] I know how long it is and will tell you someday

perelgut@utcsrgv.UUCP (Stephen Perelgut) (11/25/83)

Response is tailing off on my initial survey request, but there is
still a trickle. And there are over 100 responses as well. I will post
final results in another week or so. However, we must:
	1) Give up the myth of 1000's or even 100's of sites
or	2) Accept the myth but admit that most of these are lauren@vortex
talking to us on a micro. Or someone on a single-person
workstation or something. (Not to slight lauren since he
posts most of the good stuff!)
or	3) Accept the fact news doesn't get everywhere
or	4) Accept the fact the most people just won't respond. All the
"major" sites have let me know as well as a couple I hadn't
thought of, but some of the smaller sites (yes, I mean YOU)
just didn't check in for whatever reason.
This is a last chance to stand up and be counted. (For the Europeans,
I have heard from a couple of sites but EurNet seems quite small.
But don't worry, California isn't much bigger judging by the responses
I got.)

P.S. Small joke: (Works better as a visual but my subject line ...)
Q: Why can't women parallel park?
A: They have always been told this |<- ->| is 6 inches!
	(15.24cm for Europeans)
