Hi, Has anyone used X11R3 on a Sun 3, running OS 3.5 (or OS 4.0), with the System V compiler? We have not been able to have much success. The compile seems to work properly, but when we run our programs, we get strange messages, such as: "XIO: fatal error 32 (Broken pipe) on X server ...." or "X toolkit error: Can't open display" The strange part is, that the program crashes at different points, usually within the call to "XtInitialize", and produces different error messages each time it is run. The programs work fine, when they are compiled with our BSD C compilers. Has anyone experienced similar problems? Does anyone have any solutions? Thanks in advance, Alok Mehta
