[comp.windows.x] X notepad available?????

morreale@bierstadt.ucar.edu (Peter Morreale) (06/14/89)

I'm looking for an X tool that may or may not be available. I'd like to
have a notepad window for cutting and pasting text from other windows, or
from keyboard input.

I don't need to have the window "file" its output, (though that might be nice)
just something that I can *quickly* write reminders to myself on.

Is such a critter already out there? If so can someone point me in the
right direction?

Thanx

I was gratified to be able to answer promptly, and I did.....
            I said I didn't know.

Try xclipboard -- if you've got MIT X11R3 it should be there.
