Is there anybody out there using the k14 font at X11R3?
I used X11R2/SR9.7 befor and kterm worked correctly with the k14 font.
But when I replcaed X11R2/SR9.7 with X11R3/SR10.1 it doesn't work well.
I made Xapollo of X11R3 on DN3000/SR10.1 with official patch #1-#9
and casey's three patch.
Xapollo worked well with the original fonts but I want to use the
Japanese 'KANJI' font. So I made k14/a14 font from
contriob/fonts/oldx11 and kterm (patched xterm for Japanese font) but
it doesn't work.
I also tested xfd k14 but it finished with
XIO: fatal IO error 32 (Broken pipe) on X server "lid3:0.0"
after 3 requests (2 known processed) with 0 events remaining.
The connection was probably broken by a server shutdown or KillClient.
The same message came out when I tested kterm with the k14 font.
Some other site in Japan tested kterm with the k14 font on
X11R3/SR10.1 and waited 30 minutes but they did't see any window or
error message.
What is the problem or did I made a mistake?
Please test k14 font on X11R3/SR10.1 and give me some suggestion.
