Other than xbench, does anyone have code or results from running tests for performance issues on different servers?? I am _not_ talking about one server being better than another -- just trying to figure out which routines are optimized on which server (ie. fillpolygon in fast on some servers and not on others). If there are not currently any such programs, would any of the server implementers be willing to publish such known fast/slow routines (so we can tweek applications to run better on your server)?? Failing that, is anyone out there willing to team up in such an effort?? Perhaps not as formal a grouping as the X verification testing group, but I assume there are other application programmers interested in evaluating performance. --Cathleen Greenberg ...sun!island!cat
