Can anyone tell me how to preview, in an X window (Sun 3/60, 3.5 if that matters) a document written in LaTeX with inserted postscript figures (using psfig/dvitps) (created with idraw)? I can preview my paper with xdvi (sans figures) and can preview my drawings (using idraw or xps) but can't preview the figures in the document. Xdvi can't interpret inserted postscript, and xps doesn't seem to work with postscript files genereated from LaTeX (I get the following error from even the simplest tex-formatted file): X Protocol error: BadValue, integer parameter out of range for operation Major opcode of failed request: 53 (X_CreatePixmap) Minor opcode of failed request: 0 Resource id in failed request: 0x0 Serial number of failed request: 93 Current serial number in output stream: 129
