[comp.windows.x] Building XQvss for Vaxstation 3200 running 4.3bsd

I'm trying to compile XQvss for a Vaxstation 3200 running 4.3bsd and am not
having too much luck.  I am using gcc 1.34 and encountered the same problems
that Ben Fried had last month with FAST{GET|PUT}BITS and was able to get 
past that point.  However, I can't get ddx/dec/qvss/qvss_io.c to compile now
(with gcc or cc).  It seems that a lot of stuff is undefined.  Has anyone
else managed to do this?  Any suggestions would be appreciated.
