[comp.windows.x] IBM benchmarks for X available in contrib on expo.

IBM has made available to the X Consortium its gemstones set of
benchmark programs.
Gemstones is an automated performance suite for X11.  The tar
file contains
o  Make.sh--a shell script that builds the entire suite,
   runs the benchmarks, and then formats the results.
o  bin directory--contains shell scripts to run various benchmarks.
   These may be altered and new ones added.
o  gen directory--directory with source modules used by
   all benchmarks.
o  directories with code for testing specific functions.
   -  arcs
   -  blits
   -  characters
   -  colors
   -  images
   -  lines
   -  points
   -  polys
   -  rects
   -  segments
   -  strings
   -  vectors.

If and when someone (daisy?) makes this available via anon uucp, please
post a note here.  I suspect there are others besides myself who would like
to get this, and aren't Internetters.

It's available as osu-cis!~/X.V11R3/contrib/gemstones.tar.Z.
