I just can't get xperfmon working. It dies with an illegal instruction in pmap_getport down deep while opening the display: (dbx) run Illegal instruction (privileged instruction fault) in pmap_getport at 0x159ca 000159ca halt (dbx) where pmap_getport(0x1479c, 0x18fc4) at 0x159ca gethostbyaddr() at 0xc1a4 sethostent(0x0) at 0xb858 gethostbyname(0x7fffdc54) at 0xb92a _XConnectDisplay(0x7fffe2a0, 0x7fffdeec, 0x7fffddec, 0x7fffdde8) at 0x9077 XOpenDisplay(0x0) at 0x4a48 win_setup(argc = 1, argv = 0x7fffe0d4), line 500 in "window.c" main(argc = 1, argv = 0x7fffe0d4, 0x7fffe0dc), line 309 in "xperfmon.c" (dbx) I suspect that something has been clobbered by the time it gets to the XOpenDisplay() call, but I have no idea what.
