I am having a lots of problems with popup widgets. I was told there was discussion some time back (a long time back?? ) on the net regarding widgets that can be popped up. If some kind soul saved these articles, my soul will be saved if they can be mailed to me as I don't get to read this group regularly. --- Thanks in advance, Srinivas sm@usl.usl.edu ..!uunet!dalsqnt!usl!sm

I defined translations for a command button to call MenuPopup() on <Btn1Down> and MenuPopdown() on <Btn1Up>. The menu is popped up on Btn1Down but it is not going down on releasing the button. Where am I making the mistake? Please mail to me as I don't get to read this group regularly; your help will be greatly appreciated . Thanks in advance, Srinivas sm@usl.usl.edu ..!dalsqnt!usl!sm

> The menu is popped up on Btn1Down but it is not going down on releasing the > button. Where am I making the mistake? Put the MenuPopdown() translation in your menu, the toolkit use a bit of X magic to send all events to the menu once it has been popped up. Since all the events go to the menu it must be responsible for popping itself down. Chris D. Peterson MIT X Consortium Net: kit@expo.lcs.mit.edu Phone: (617) 253 - 9608 Address: MIT - Room NE43-213
