Has anyone noticed and solved this one? Build twm 1.2 out of the box from R3 on Sun3 running SunOS 4.0.3 to see it. Upon resize, twm apparently sends a synthetic ConfigureNotify with a bogus window id (5) as the above sibling. Build the same twm on a Sun4 and no problem! Go figure.
