Can someone tell me how to get the MIT X11 release tapes? Call the MIT Software Distribution Center at 617-258-8330; use ftp to fetch it from a variety of machines (including among others: uunet.uu.net, gatekeeper.dec.com, mordred.cs.purdue.edu, and expo.lcs.mit.edu); uucp it from osu-eddie; purchase a copy from any of variety of companies and organizations that are reselling the distribution; etc.

Talk about living in the past! :-) osu-eddie was retired about two
years ago, while we were all still waiting for X11 to be released.
Our UUCP hub is called osu-cis now; folks can write me for directions
if needed. BTW, we were recently given a TB+ and a V.32, which make
large piles of stuff like X11 somewhat more reasonable via UUCP.
