When I run readnews here with the -t flag to select articles whose titles contain a certain character string, my .newsrc file is not updated to show thse selected articles as "read" if I do, in fact, read them. This is not mentioned in the manual entry for Readnews and I wonder if it is a bug or if it is supposed to act this way and the manual entry is just incomplete. The Version command elicits "News version: B 2.10.1 6/24/83", in case this info is of help. Will Martin
