My problem is that when I EMACS a file, X creates a window and the size of the charecters is so small, it is driving me nuts. Is there a way of getting these charecters larger? Thanks. -Mk Notch. You didn't say what flavor (GNU or Unipress or perhaps another) or
version of Emacs you're using, nor what system you're running on, nor
what version of X you're running.
I run GNU Emacs 18.54 on Sun-3s and -4s running X.V11R3 plus 10 MIT
patches and the Purdue 2.1 speedups. My resource database contains an
entry like
*Font: *-courier-medium-r-*-*-*-120-*-*-*-*-*-*
Emacs respects this and gives me a reasonably pleasant font to read.
You might try something similar if you're in a similar situation.
