[comp.windows.x] xphoon and the lunar eclipse; disappointment

david@ics.COM (David B. Lewis) (08/17/89)

Well, we've been working late, cranking "Eclipse" off "Dark Side of the
Moon" in infinite-play mode, and waiting for the lunar eclipse that should
have been over the eastern USA tonight. But the big moment came and
went, and xphoon didn't so much as blink. We even had our time zone set
correctly.

Diffs to phase.c to follow. (?)

You know what they say; behind that darkness it really is a full moon....

You just weren't running it on the right system. On the WELL, where quite
a few people run phoon (the ASCII predecessor of xphoon), something fairly
unusual happened during the eclipse.

Anyway, what were you doing indoors?
