[comp.windows.x] How can I set a Pixmap in a Resource file?

I want to specify a background pixmap for a widget in a resource
file.  I stupidly assumed that one could specify a filename and
have the resource manager get it, but of course I am wrong.

How is it done?  Fill in the blank:

XLoad*backgroundPixmap:		__________

You can't, the intrinsics do no define a StringToPixmap converter.  Unless
the widget or application specifically defines this converter then you are
out of luck.
