rlk@THINK.COM (Robert L. Krawitz) (08/19/89)
In X11R3 with unknown, but small, number of patches under SunOS 3.5 on a Sun 3/140, with an 80x72 window with scroll bar but no title bar, using uwm as my window manager, if I click the right mouse button in a window while I'm moving the mouse rapidly through the window (as happens occasionally when I'm moving the mouse and accidentally brush the buttons), the window sometimes just dies on me. There is no core dump that I can find, and no error message, but the window just dies on me. Has anyone else had this happen? It is most annoying, to say the least. ames >>>>>>>>> | Robert Krawitz <rlk@think.com> 245 First St. bloom-beacon > |think!rlk Cambridge, MA 02142 harvard >>>>>> . Thinking Machines Corp. This should be fixed by public patch #4, available via ftp or the xstuff mail archive server. It is caused by a bug in the extend-select code.
