		      Three Intense Days of Sun

		Sun's Windows and Graphics Conferences


Sun will launch its Technology Conference program with the first
Windows and Graphics Conference in San Francisco on September 18-20.
This is a three day technical conference focusing on Sun's recently
announced OpenWindows technology, and graphics hardware and software.

Presented by Sun's key product designers, the conferences will provide
attendees with information on the latest developments in these
technologies and an overview of Sun's solutions.

The conference format will consist of an overview summarizing the
issues, trends and current research followed by detail-driven analyses
of individual topics.  Case studies, product demonstrations and
question and answer sessions will be included in the program.
You'll receive copies of all presentation materials and supporting
documentation, including the latest versions of the OPEN LOOK GUI
Specifications and Style Guide.  The cost is $600 per attendee.

Day 1:
	Day 1 kicks off the conference with an overview of strategy,
	directions and products, followed by in-depth technical
	presentations on the OPEN LOOK Graphical User Interface, the
	X11/NeWS Server, and Open Fonts technology.

Day 2:
	The second day focuses on toolkits and tools designed to
	increase productivity.  Presentations include XView: An OPEN
	LOOK User Interface Toolkit, Migrating from SunView to XView,
	DeskSet: An OPEN LOOK Desktop Environment, and more.  Day 2
	also includes two open demo sessions and a presentation on
	licensing the DeskSet.

Day 3:
	Day 3 is devoted to graphics.  There will be technical
	presentations on Sun's graphics software, including SunPHIGS
	and SunGKS, as well as coverage of hardware accelerators and
	options.  There will also be a detailed presentation on PEX: 
	3D Graphics in Distributed Windows.
