[comp.windows.x] xterm on a serial port??

gors@well.UUCP (Gordon Stewart) (08/30/89)

Hi, we have a device which expects a VT100 on the other end of a serial
connection. I would like to use an xterm window to talk directly to
the /dev/tty? serial line. Is this possible? Recommendations appreciated.

	thanks,

Run a cu in the xterm window (or tell xterm to start the cu instead of the
default shell).
