I have been testing a pre-release of gcc, by compiling and runnning X11R3 on a
Sun3. When I run the X protocol verification test out of the XTEST distribution
I find that my server fails a half dozen of the tests. Are there known bugs in
sample server implementation on the Suns? If so, can you tell me which of the
protocol verification tests fail and how? (perferably a chunk of text out of
the XLONG.LOG)
Please resond by email, and if there is enough interest I will summarize.

Sure, there are definitely bugs in the R3 server.
If so, can you tell me which of the protocol verification tests fail
and how?
