A few of us were sitting at our workstations the other day and someone asked what MOTIF meant. Since none of us knew and we are a creative bunch (at least our bosses think we are), we attempted to come up with an expansion for the acronym. Here are some of our best (?) efforts: MOTIF Only Thinks It's Fantastic Makes Our Tasks Infinitely Frustrating Manages Only To Irritate Folks Makes Odd Things In Frames Masochistic Organisms Think It's Fun Most Of This Is F***** Marvelous Objects To Impede Functionality Most Overrated Toolkit In the Field Many Opportunities To Insure Failure If any one else can think of any they are welcome to mail them to me and I will keep a list and post it back here in a couple of weeks.
