Readnews avoids re-showing me an article posted to multiple groups if I have already read it in another group during the same session with readnews. But now that the news volume is so heavy, I rarely hit the place where the same article is during the same session. I read 100 articles and quit out of readnews, come back an hour later, and then finally reach the duplicate article. Readnews should check the other groups an article is posted to and see whether I have already read past that point in the other group. In other words, checking should not just cover what I have read in the current session. Bill Dietrich houxj!wapd
