I am using xrn 5.7, and I find that KILL files confuse the dickens out of it. Local KILL files are bad news, even if they are empty, but the global KILL file only causes problems when it is "relevant." The problem evidences itself by crashing xrn. This is on an ULTRIX vax8650.
