Has anyone adapted uucp so that it uses the 4.2 network support?
Can I please have a copy? Seems that a socket should be used and have
uucp use that as the `wire'. Anything is more reliable than the
dinky RS232.

Yes, there is an implementaton of uucico which runs under TCP/IP.
The good people at seismo made the modifications and even added a
't' protocol (which presumably does very little, since TCP is doing
all the checksumming, etc).
Write to Raleigh Romine (romine@seismo.{ARPA, UUCP} for details.
We got a copy from them, but since they did the work, ask them for it.
