[comp.windows.x] does XGetWindowBackground exist?

It is possible to change the background-color of a window with the call:
	XSetWindowBackground(<display>, <window>, <colormapentry>)

Is it also possible to ask what the colormap-entry of the background-color
of a window is?
How would such a request look like?
