ANSI Escape Sequences__________________________________________________________
The problem with escape sequences and control characters is more than
just locked terminals. There are some terminals with answerback buffers that
escape sequences can manipulate and do nasty things. Escape sequences can be
a real security bug!
Another problem is that not all terminals handle the same escape se-
quences the same way. A possible solution would be to somehow hook into the
TERMCAP entries...
The best approach would be to allow the user to decide whether or not
to display escape sequences...
