I am looking for a way to bind the function keys on a Sun to functions like f.iconify. Something like: f.iconify= L7 :window|icon: Does anybody have an idea on how to do this? hi! Using xmodmap, is there a way to make the function key generate multi-character sequences? e.g. xmodmap -e "keysym F1 = h" makes the F1 key generate h. However, if I wanted F1 to generate the sequence hello???? Any help will be appreciated.
