If there is a DECWindows wizard out there, I need help with the translation tables for a SText widget. I am at a loss. Here is the translation table: defaultEditorTranslations = "#augment\n\ ^<Key>F:forward_character ()\n\ ^<Key>B:backward_character ()\n\ Ctrl<Key>D:delete_next_character ()\n\ Ctrl<Key>A:beginning_of_line ()\n\ Ctrl<Key>E:end_of_line ()\n\ Ctrl<Key>P:previous_line ()\n\ Ctrl<Key>N:next_line ()\n\ Ctrl<Key>K:kill_to_end_of_line ()"; Here is the error message I get: X Toolkit Warning: translation table syntax error: Unknown modifier name: Ctrl X Toolkit Warning: translation table syntax error: Unknown modifier name: Ctrl X Toolkit Warning: translation table syntax error: Unknown modifier name: Ctrl X Toolkit Warning: translation table syntax error: Unknown modifier name: Ctrl X Toolkit Warning: translation table syntax error: Unknown modifier name: Ctrl X Toolkit Warning: translation table syntax error: Unknown modifier name: Ctrl X Toolkit Warning: translation table syntax error: Unknown modifier name: Ctrl X Toolkit Warning: translation table syntax error: Unknown modifier name: Ctrl I do appreciate that the XtParseTranslationtable () expands the "^" to the unknown modifier name "Ctrl" for me though. MegaThanks, Vince Kraemer (nosmo@eiffel.com or uunet!eiffel!nosmo)
