Apology time.  Sorry for the bandwidth, but I was far, far out of line
in my earlier message.  I have been rightly flamed for my ill considered
posting:  Cautionary tale #901, Moral = "Don't post news when frustrated."
Plea of extenuation:  Installing a number of workstations of unfamiliar
blood on a the local net, and faced with the task of seamlessly integrating
same into the work environment, porting, etc., I became exasperated
when my first documentation scan showed no way to establish the customizations
needed.  No excuses, just apologies...  particularly to the developers
of DEC windows, who have contributed so to the X project over the years.

Thanks to those who provided assistance, as well for their corrective
critcism as for their technical advise.
