[comp.windows.x] How do you transfer Macintosh fonts to bdf or snf form

The BMUG fonts were originally Macintosh fonts. Now they are X Windows fonts
too. How was this done? I want to transfer all my favourite Mac fonts to
X Windows. I'll offer my selection of about a hundred PD fonts to anyone who
can tell me how to do it.
