For the second month in a row, the posting in net.announce.newusers of "Emily Post for Usenet" has been garbled, in the exact same spot and manner. The lines beginning "15. ", which start at line number 199 of a file created by doing an "s filename" for this posting, read as follows: 15. Here is a list of some groups that are impory everyone. Followups and discussions should never go here. I posted a note about this last month, and got a message from seismo that it was also garbled there. I do not know how general this garbling is. Please check the postings at your site. Mark Horton sent me a note that it wasn't worth reposting "Emily", since a new (and presumably correct) posting would come out in a month. This is it, and it's still slightly garbled. In case this indicates something more seriously wrong than a simple case of a file being trashed before sending (Mark said the file was good before it went out), or one leg of the net having a new or undiscovered bug, I thought that it was worth posting this to net.news. I'm no maintainer, only a reader, so I have no idea what to do to fix this if it is a problem. Will
