I have recently loaded X11R3 on a Sun3 Ethernet network. I compiled and ran the xsort program under the contributions directory. When I run the program it aborts with the following error: X Protocol error: not a valid window ID Major opcode of failed request: 4 (X_DestroyWindow) Minor opcode of failed request: 0 Resource id in failed request: 0xedfaa4c Serial number of failed request: 74 Current serial number in output stream: 237 If I modify the original program such that there is a delay loop at the bottom of any of the sort routines (e.g., bubble.c) then the program runs to completion.
