I gather that there was some infomation on using Xlib functions
via C++ ... ie setting up C++ libraries, sent to this bb. My question
is quite simple -- who are you and how is it done !

Cheers,

Colin, There is a product that is called InterViews.

I think you would be interested in it. Basically, it is an external
library (actually three) that you can link in with your c++ program.

The man pages and the cover paper are about 110 pages long double sided.
It covers higher level concepts such as Menus and terminal emulators...

It includes about 1638k worth of sample code, just incase you have troubles.

Now for the bad part, it costs $3,000 dollars, wait, no, just kidding,
it is FREE. Anonymous ftp to interviews.stanford.edu. The lastest
version (that I know of) is 2.5 patchlevel 20.

It even includes a c++ compiler if you need one!

Colin Crist,

Please send me a valid email address for you - or call me.
C.Crist@uk.ac.ucl.cs doesn't work.

Sorry to take up bandwidth with this.
