I submitted a bug report documenting the multiple screens error to xbugs, and here is the message I got back: Thank you for sending a bug report to xbugs@expo.lcs.mit.edu. Your bug has been tagged and entered into the X bug database. All of the Sun ddx device support assumes at most one of each type of device per server, so it isn't at all surprising that you're having problems. We at MIT have no intention of trying to fix this, it will be up to Sun or someone else to do the work.
