I logged on this evening to find that a couple of new newsgroups have been created. My mail told me that *both* net.math and net.math.stat were created. Wunnerful. Wunnerful. I can't say that I agree with nsc!chuqui's committee proposal, but somehow, folks, we should get our stuff a little more together. (Betcha I log on tomorrow to find that control messages to delete *both* groups have come through. Sigh.) (Isn't this just like a typical flame...complain about a problem and propose no answer. I just love being irresponsible like that...) -- Chip Rosenthal, Intel/Santa Clara {idi|intelca|icalqa|imcgpe|kremvax|qubix|ucscc}!t4test!{chip|news}

You think you got it bad? I just saw net.trivia created by some bozo super-user at UCSD for the nth time in the last two months. WHY don't these idiots read net.news.group?
