Is there a way to set the cursor to use when the mouse pointer is in a window other than the root? I can set the cursor in the root with: xsetroot -cursor ... but I would like to set the cursor for my other term windows. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= | Dovi | Request to snowboarders and skiers: | mdovi@hpcupt1.hp.com | Help stamp out "THE ATTITUDE". {...}!hplabs!hpda!hpcupt1!mdovi |

If that application wishes to support this, then it should provide an interface. > ...but I would like to set the cursor for my other term windows. For xterm there is a resoource that lets you set the cursor. Xterm*pointerShape: gumby or from the command line: % xterm -xrm "*pointerShape:gumby" To set the cursor for other applications you will have to consult the application's documentation. Chris D.
