A new patch to xloadimage has been sent to comp.sources.x and should be available shortly. This patch: o Fixes a bug in zoom.c that affected bitmaps o Adds a new (but still trivial) dithering algorithm o Adds support for X Pixmap (XPM) files Some very old versions of xloadimage may be prior to patchlevel 01; if your version has no "patchlevel" file, you have one of these and should email me. The comp.sources.x distribution had the 01 patch applied to it already. People who cannot get hold of the patch from comp.sources.x should email me at madd@std.com to request one. I also intend to put xloadimage.patch02.Z in the contrib directory on expo.lcs.mit.edu but haven't done so yet (probably tonight or tomorrow). Hopefully patch 03 will have GIF support, but it's taking longer than I expected. Enjoy, jim frost software tool & die madd@std.com
