[comp.windows.x] Using a Pixmap as a Label for a labelWidget

atmaram@csun10.cs.uh.edu (S. Atmaram) (11/04/89)

Hi netters!
I have been having a hard time with the following
	   problem -
My program creates a form Widget and 4 label widgets as its
children. Instead of having a string as the label, I wish to
have a pixmap(icon) displayed.

I have tried setting the XtNbitmap resource but have
not been successful. I have created a bitmap using the 'bitmap'
utility.
Could someone please shed some light on how to go
about making pixmaps as labels? Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

In X11R3 this resource should work just fine, but make sure that you specify a
full path name, or a XtNbitmapFilePath.
