We have a number of old AT&T Blits (green, "intelligent" (each contained a WE32000) bitmapped terminals), and we would be FASCINATED at the prospect of being able to ditch the standard windowing system that comes with them ("layers") in favor of X. Is this actually possible? Has some nice person written an X window server for Blits? If so, can we get it (preferably cheaply - about all we can offer is the undying gratitude of about five grad students...)? Jon P.S.: if anybody has finished a port of X Windows to the Unix PC, he, too, can get in on the gratitude.... P.P.S: Ken, it is possible to buy AT&T 630 terminals (which is what that sounds like) from AT&T. Last I heard, though, they were a little steep in price for their capabilities. Another possibility you might want to consider is buying Amiga-500's; X Windows software is definitely available for them. If the server is written half decently, it ought to be ungodly fast..
