[comp.windows.x] Looking for public domain X for PC

mike@nixba.UUCP (Mike Lyons) (12/13/89)

Hello, I'm looking for a public domain, free, or shareware implementation of
the X Window System for PC's. In particular, I've been trying to find an
X server for a 80386-based machine with a high res monitor (Wyse WY7190).

Thanks in advance and
Peace,
  Mike

I don't know of anything free, but with a weird monitor like that,
your best bet is to probably look for a program which runs under MS
Windows (you DO have a MS Windows driver, don't you?). There is one
but I forget whose. I would be very surprised if you would find an X
server with a special driver for your weird monitor.
