Well, I had been real pleased with myself, because I wasn't having any problem getting R3 to work with gcc, but since we've gone to 4.0.3, that pleasant feeling has gone away. The bad part is that the new server works on some machines, and not others, and the worst part is that it works on one 3/60C and not on another; both are served from the same machine. I've gotten rid of -finline-functions, and compiled oscolor.c with cc instead of gcc, and still no joy. Usually, the server dies with the broken pipe error, although sometimes it just quietly disappears. Any ideas at all?
