I am looking for information about hpwm - that's Hewlett Packard's Window Manager. There is a version of it being shipped with Dec's new DECstation 3100 - without documentation. It is a VERY fine wm, and I would like to get a hold of some documentation for it, and if possible the sources. In particular I want to get it running on Sun workstations. Any information anyone can get me would be much appreciated. Oswald P. Backus IV csvax.cs.ukans.edu

I'm currently demoing a 386 based workstation, with X. The providers of X included hpwm, but I don't have it on my Sun. I really like it a lot better and want it. Does anyone know where to get it?

It is very similar to mwm, the motif window manager which is available on Suns from several vendors including ICS and Torch. david@devvax.jpl.nasa.gov
