If we bring a check for $400 to the X Tech Conference can we get the tapes and manuals then? It takes the Software Center a while to ramp up for a new release. I'm told it's doubtful they'll have packages available for the X Conference, although I'm told there will be someone on hand to take orders, and I would expect them to start shipping not long after the X Conference.

Other companies, however, may be making the R4 release available on other forms of media. (Look for announcements soon.) It comes in at just under 150MB. Core is 45.8MB. David B.
