Does anyone out there know where I can find any documentation  or  references to the 
                                                ^^^^^^^^^^^^^      ^^^^^^^^^^
evolving standards on Remote Procedure Calls (RPCs)? RPCs are being 
pushed as a "logical extension" to the client server model.
