[comp.windows.x] Buglet in X11R4 server for the BSD RT

wlm@archet.UUCP (Bill Moran) (01/10/90)

The R4 server on a BSD RT gives the following message:

WSGO! bad call to mpelFillPolygon
	pDraw->type = 1 =? 0
	pGC->fillStyle = 0 =? 0

I gather from the code that this means that the type of the drawable
being passed to mpelFillPolygon is DRAWABLE_PIXMAP rather than
DRAWABLE_WINDOW. I guess from the looks of the code that this is being
caused when someone calls mpelFillPolygon when they really wanted to
call miFillPolygon. Since the code currently calls miFillPolygon in
this error case, is this likely to cause other problems if not tracked
down? If someone else has fixed this, I'd be interested in hearing
about it.
