Has anyone come across a metacode translator for the NCAR graphics package that runs under xwindows? I can tranlate to plot(1) and then to tek, but I'd like something more efficient that could support color. Thanks, Scott

The National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) and the Pittsburgh Supercomputer Center both have implementations of CGM metacode translators which run under X. I refer you to them for the details of availability. Donna Converse converse@expo.lcs.mit.edu
